The Buddy Scheme
SUMMARY
What: In Summer 2021, we created a brand new initiative linking the UK's top up and coming athletes with elite athlete role models as mentors. The Buddy Scheme is currently paused!
Why: To increase the motivation and guidance for young athletes, leading to higher performance and FAR LOWER drop-out rates.
How: Using elite senior athletes' experiences and understanding to benefit the next generation.
Who: High-level youth/junior athletes.
